Belli challenge#51

I made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge #51 This weeks challenge is to use reinkers on your card well the only reinker I own is indian corn blue so the blue on Nellie's dress was colored in using my reinker and aqua brush the rest of the image I actually colored I with my chalks that I haven't used in a long time. After I colored in my image I wanted to use gingham paper but all of my paper didn't match the blue I used so then I remembered I had some ribbon and it matched really well. That's it for my card.

CBCC #22 Tuesday

I never get challenges done on the day they are given it always takes me a few days to get to it. This week Courtney's challenge was a sketch challenge and as you can see I didn't really follow it exactly. I however I put three rhinestones at the bottom that can count right? I just thought it looked more elegant than putting buttons or just the rhinestones. The sentiment is a rub-on so this is a no stamping card, crazy I don't make those very often. Any way hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting.

What I used
DP-dcwv
CS-sweet leaf, chocolate(ctmh)
supplies-ribbon (offray), charm (walmart), rub-on(ctmh), chipboard flourish (scrapworks), rhinestones(unknown)

Bibbidi bobbidi boo!

My girls have been watching Cinderella for the last two days and not just one time, two or three times over and over, and since I'm also making a card based on this movie I seem to have that bibbidi bobbidi boo song suck in my head.
Snss Monday DT challenge #10 was to use the Cinderella Movie as inspiration. So here is my card I decided to go with blue because of Cinderellas dress for the ball I also added rhinestones well because they sparkle and they reminded me of the glass slipper. The stamp set I used is called special women and it's on sale at sweet 'n sassy stamps for only $6.oo what a great deal. For my card I stamped my image and embossed with clear embossing powder I then sponged on blue ink so you can see the image stays white. I used my word window punch for the sentiments. The flourishes in the background is a ctmh set called playful flourishes. Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

Hello!

I made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge #50 this week her challenge was to use stamps that have gone unused or neglected. Well I definitely found one this stamp was one of my first stamps ever I was probably only 12 yr. old when my mom bought it for me it's an old ctmh stamp back when they were called dots the copy right on the stamp said 1989 so yeah it's old and has gone unused for just about as long too. I colored my image in with my copics and then to my amazement I found some perfect pearls that I've had for about 5 yr and forgot about so I used the green on the turtle and he shimmers, oh so cute. My striped paper has been altered a bit, it originally was just pink and green so I used my ctmh crystal blue marker and ruler and made my blue stripes I thought it turned out so cute and matches great. I used two types of ribbon and did a little paper piercing along the bottom. I found a new site called clean and simple that's were I found this sketch you should check it out. CBC # 21

Ok I admit it I'm a New kids on the Block fan so when Courtney's CBC challenge #21 this week was to make a card from the music you listen to I thought of this CD. The card is not really my style but I kinda like it. I used snss chocoholic stamp set for my card. The sentiment was embossed in sliver embossing powder but it looks all blurry and smooshed together in the photo. The funny thing about this card is I had planed on using different ribbon that was white with poke a dots in all the colors in my card but I couldn't find it. I had it out the day before but it went missing so after I looked for an hour (not kidding) I gave up and used my black with white dots ribbon and used my copics to color them pink and yellow, and wouldn't ya know I found the ribbon I was looking for as soon as I had taken the photo of this card go figure. LOL. Well I hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting.
