I so love sketch challenges it's helping me get my mojo back, yay! Today's card is made using Sweet n' Sassy Stamps challenge blog called The Sweet Stop.
I am loving the pendants that are so popular right now and this sketch was so fun to work with. For my card I used cup of cocoa.
The patterned paper is super old it's a 6 x12 pad made for the cricut called doodlecharms . I then used my embossing folder it looks like snowflakes I have know idea what it's call I do know it's from Stampin' Up but it is retired. I sponged twilight ink around the edges and sponged Stampin' Up's frost white all purpose ink all over the embossed card stock. It's so shimmery. I colored in the stamped image with my copics and added some bling to the snowflakes on the mug. I also used my clear spica pen on the candy cane. That's about it. Thanks for visiting

Love is in the air
This weekend Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is celebrating their customers by having their first Customer Appreciation Blog Hop (a list of blog hop requirements is at the link). The theme is Love is in the Air. Every participant who posts a project on their blog will receive a FREE digital stamp and it is so cute. In haven't posted in almost 2 years and this was just the motivation I needed to get back to posting again.
For my card I used sweet 'n sassy stamp so sweet cocoa he is just the cutest little guy. I colored him in with my copics. I paper pieced the cupcake wrapping. I then cut the image out with my square nesties. The cute saying came with the stamp set too. I don't even know what to say it kind of hard just jumping in again it's been so long, I hope I can keep it up. I do have more to post maybe during the week I can sneak in another post.
Thanks for stopping by.( I should get better at this after I remember how to do everything again.)

Busy Busy Busy
Last Thursday my daughter came down with a stomach bug or maybe it was something she ate because nobody else came down with it. Then came Valentine's day which is really no problem I mainly just celebrate it by giving my kids something I don't celebrate it with my husband because our anniversary is two days later which is today. Love you honey Happy Anniversary(just in case he reads this but he probably doesn't even know my blog name). Wow we've been been married for 8 yrs. I can honestly say I love him more each and every day.
I don't know how much I'll be able to post this week I'm going out to dinner with my hubby tonight. Wednesday is my daughters birthday so I need to get my house in order for her birthday party. Then I start my weekly visits to the doctor on Friday. My son is also off track until March so instead of two crazy monkeys running around I have three and my son just happens to be the craziest of all. Well now that you know my schedule for the week just know it's crazy here lol.

Here is a card I was supposed to post last Thursday. this card is for the Snss sketch challenge #3 on pcp. I used snss purr-fect day. I have been busy making hair bows because of Jen del Muro's post here My camera battery died so I'll have to take the photo later to show tomorrow if I get a chance. I kind if went a little crazy with making them I think my girls will have bows to match everything they own.

stamps- puff-fect day(snss)
ink-tuxedo black(memento)
dp-magic moments(ctmh)
cs-dutch blue, sweet leaf, colonial white(ctmh)
supplies-twill ribbon(ctmh)copic markers.

Bibbidi bobbidi boo!

My girls have been watching Cinderella for the last two days and not just one time, two or three times over and over, and since I'm also making a card based on this movie I seem to have that bibbidi bobbidi boo song suck in my head.Snss Monday DT challenge #10 was to use the Cinderella Movie as inspiration. So here is my card I decided to go with blue because of Cinderellas dress for the ball I also added rhinestones well because they sparkle and they reminded me of the glass slipper. The stamp set I used is called special women and it's on sale at sweet 'n sassy stamps for only $6.oo what a great deal. For my card I stamped my image and embossed with clear embossing powder I then sponged on blue ink so you can see the image stays white. I used my word window punch for the sentiments. The flourishes in the background is a ctmh set called playful flourishes. Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

CBC # 21

Ok I admit it I'm a New kids on the Block fan so when Courtney's CBC challenge #21 this week was to make a card from the music you listen to I thought of this CD. The card is not really my style but I kinda like it. I used snss chocoholic stamp set for my card. The sentiment was embossed in sliver embossing powder but it looks all blurry and smooshed together in the photo. The funny thing about this card is I had planed on using different ribbon that was white with poke a dots in all the colors in my card but I couldn't find it. I had it out the day before but it went missing so after I looked for an hour (not kidding) I gave up and used my black with white dots ribbon and used my copics to color them pink and yellow, and wouldn't ya know I found the ribbon I was looking for as soon as I had taken the photo of this card go figure. LOL. Well I hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting.

ink-black graphite(brilliance), bubblegum, dutch blue, sunny yellow(CTMH)

Anyways there were three challenges the DT came up with here is a card I made for the technique challenge. The challenge was to make a card using the tole technique were you stamp and image at least three times and cut out different parts and layer them so you have a 3-D effect. SNSS DT Round Up

I was suppose to post this yesterday but I forgot. I went to New Orleans for my husbands Christmas work party, even though I was only gone for the weekend it's taking me awhile to get back into the swing of things.
This month for the design team round up for Sweet'n Sassy stamps I decided to showcase winter at home. I colored in the image with my copic markers the milk can and skate blades were colored in with my sakura stardust gel pen so it looks shiny like metal. I used Martha Stewart's snowflake punch dipped in glitter and holiday poinsettia from prima.Visit the snss blog to see what the rest of the design team made.

Gift Set & Blog Hop
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope everyone else did too. It's my turn for the Sweet 'n Sassy blog hop this time I decided to make a acetate box ( instructions are found here tlc182) for some candy. I made a simple card to go along with it. Originally I was going to fill it up with the mint patties that are all decorated but they looked a little funny in the box with the way I have it decorated so I just filled it up with the plain mints but I wanted to show the candies decorated. I used Snowflakes stamp set for my project. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to continue on with the blog hop the next stop is Korin's blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
