For this card I used the Sketch challenge from Jen Del muro's blog a few weeks ago I'm just now getting to it our sisterhood-15 decided to use this sketch also. Golfing Riley

I had so much fun at the expo I bought lots of goodies but now I'm trying to organize my scrap room so I can put it all away.

Here is a card I made for my dad's birthday which was yesterday I made a card with golfing Riley just perfect for my dad. I colored him in with my copics this was the first time I have colored in the sky and grass with my markers I really like the way it turned out. I then matched the colors with some argyle paper and used my cuddle bug and swiss dots embossing folder with my white paper I then turned it around so the paper looked more like the dimples on a golf ball I know you can't tell in the photo but it looks neat well at least I think so and my dad really liked his card too. Well that's all for today I'm still trying to decide what to give away for my first blog candy hope to have it figured out soon. Thanks for stopping by have a great day.

I took My kids to the Zoo today and I was a very good mom and remembered to put sunblock on my kids I just forgot to put it on myself so my head, neck, and arms are fried so I'm hurting a little but, I should feel better tomorrow. Anyways when I came home and went to get the mail I had not1 or 2 but 3 happy mail items in the mail box I was so excited this was my very first RAK (random act of kindness) the first one I opened was a card with images from Christi I just love her patterned paper and how she used the eyelets I have so many eyelets I really need to try something like this.

The second one I opened was from Chris for winning her bellie # 9 challenge she sent me this card it is so awesome in real life love it, and if you look under the photo you will see a big stack of cardstock soo amazing.

For the third one that I opened it was from Dawn she sent me her card that she made for the bella babe contest soo sweet the photo doesn't do it justice she has orange and yellow stickles on her pajama pants and I love how she used the brads along the circle.

I was so lucky today thank you ladies for making my day even better.

Hanna challenges

I had a wonderful weekend and I hope every one else did too. I made these two cards.. .yes I am showing two cards crazy huh? Anyway I made them for the two Hanna stamp challenges the first was to make a card where the front of the card was at least a 1/2 inch shorter than the back I'm not quite sure if you can see but the front of my card is about an1 1/2 inches shorter on the front. On the side the fire hydrant and dog tag have glossy accents on them so cute If I do say so myself. The stamps I used are my best friend from Hanna stamps .

For my second card this challenge was to use the colors
Plum (Perfect Plum and/or Pale Plum)
Always Artichoke

any neutral

Well These are all SU colors and I only have ctmh so I had to improvise I hope the colors I choose are close enough I used New England Ivy and the dp is from the level 2 packet of Enchanted from ctmh the stamp is also a Hanna stamp from the small breeds dog set I think I bought the set just for this tree although the dogs are pretty cute too. I think everything on this card is pretty strait forward I did however use a metal rimmed tag and cut it diagonally and used it on the two corners. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
