Gift Set & Blog Hop

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope everyone else did too. It's my turn for the Sweet 'n Sassy blog hop this time I decided to make a acetate box ( instructions are found here tlc182) for some candy. I made a simple card to go along with it. Originally I was going to fill it up with the mint patties that are all decorated but they looked a little funny in the box with the way I have it decorated so I just filled it up with the plain mints but I wanted to show the candies decorated. I used Snowflakes stamp set for my project. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to continue on with the blog hop the next stop is Korin's blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

What I used
stamp-snowflakes(snss)
ink-Indian corn blue(ctmh)
dp-chocolate, Indian corn blue(ctmh), white(gp)
embellishments-ribbon(offray) stardust stickles
tools-scalloped circle punch(SU) cuddle bug snowflake embossing folder, mints, Acetate.

Gift set

I made this purse gift set last night and put the finishing touches on it this morning. No stamping are you shocked?...I am. The purse is big enough to hold 4 standard sized cards with envelopes, and has a Velcro closure. The card layouts are pretty simple so I glittafied ( I just made that word up) my paper with stardust stickles, which by the way hardly ever shows up in my photos but it looks real pretty IRL. The purse and cards were all made using scrapworks canvas collection I've had this for 6 months and never used it, I bought it at the scrapbook expo for $1. the other paper is ctmh chocolate cs, then I the added embellishments , blue rhinestones ( $find), ribbon( offray), stickles stardust, paper flower ctmh, blue button( dress it up) and the pewter photo hangers with brad are ctmh I used them to attach the ribbon to the purse(see below).
