Warm Hugs & Cocoa Wishes

I so love sketch challenges it's helping me get my mojo back, yay! Today's card is made using Sweet n' Sassy Stamps challenge blog called The Sweet Stop.

I am loving the pendants that are so popular right now and this sketch was so fun to work with. For my card I used cup of cocoa.

The patterned paper is super old it's a  6 x12 pad made for the cricut called doodlecharms .  I then used my embossing folder it looks like snowflakes I have know idea what it's call I do know it's from Stampin' Up but it is retired. I sponged twilight ink around the edges and sponged  Stampin' Up's  frost white all purpose ink all over the embossed card stock. It's so shimmery. I colored in the stamped image with my copics and added some bling to the snowflakes on the mug. I also used my clear spica pen on the candy cane. That's about it. Thanks  for visiting

Have a Wicked Halloween

For today's card I used another sketch challenge I just love them they help take the guess work out of card making . The sketch challenge I used this time is Mojo Monday's.

My image was a bit too large for the sketch so I turned it on it's side. I used one of the stamps from Stampin' Up's Greeting Card Kids I colored it in with my copics then I paper pieced her dress and added  a bit of shadow with my copics. The spider web was cut out on  my cricut using the cartridge artiste by ctmh. I used two orange flowers one I colored in with my black copic marker, the rhinestones were clear and I used an orange copic to color so they matched. Thanks for visiting .

I'm Back!

Wow I can't believe it's been over a year and a half since I last posted where did the time go? I know I said this last time but I really hope to keep up on my blog a little more than once a year lol. All but one of my kids are in school so that gives me more time to stamp and post. Well I recently purchased some kraftin kimmie stamps and started looking for inspiration when I came across the kraftin' kimmie's challenge blog  and thought I'd give it a try to get my mojo running . This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge.

For my card I used Witchy Poo and colored her in with my copics I used a prisma colored pencil to draw in fishnet stockings and loved the way it turned out. The black tulle ribbon from ctmh went great  with it too.i colered in the skull eyes and bow with my spica glitter pens but it's hard to see the sparkle in the photo. I'll be back later this week with another post.
Thanks for visiting.

I apologize for not posting or keeping you up to date. I just became overwhelmed and couldn't enjoy stamping. I would spend time in my scrap room and just stare and everything or organize it but I just couldn't make anything. On the rare occasion that I would make something I just couldn't bring myself to blog about it. My goal this year was to start blogging again. I've done it! I don't know how long this will last but this is a start for me.

Love is in the air

This weekend Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is celebrating their customers by having their first Customer Appreciation Blog Hop (a list of blog hop requirements is at the link). The theme is Love is in the Air. Every participant who posts a project on their blog will receive a FREE digital stamp and it is so cute. In haven't posted in almost 2 years and this was just the motivation I needed to get back to posting again.

For my card I used sweet 'n sassy stamp so sweet cocoa he is just the cutest little guy. I colored him in with my copics. I paper pieced the cupcake wrapping. I then cut the image out with my square nesties. The cute saying came with the stamp set too. I don't even know what to say it kind of hard just jumping in again it's been so long, I hope I can keep it up. I do have more to post maybe during the week I can sneak in another post.
Thanks for stopping by.( I should get better at this after I remember how to do everything again.)

I had forgotten how much work a new baby is I knew I'd have less time for myself but I feel like I have absolutely no time at all. I'm lucky to even get dressed in the morning. Ever since I came home from the hospital with the baby one or more of my kids have been sick, then last Sunday the baby came down with a fever so we took him to the emergency room and had tests run well after staying two nights in the hospital all tests results came back negative and Ammon was released we still don't know why he had a fever.
I have been working on baby announcements but by the rate I'm going he'll be 1 yr before they even get sent out. I hope things settle down here so I can get some time to stamp I'm really missing it. Have a great day.
