I know it's not Friday I'm just a little behind this week. The fantastic Friday challenge is a new weekly challenge at Korin's blog the first challenge is to make a creation with a winged creature, you still have time if you want to join in the fun so go make something then go to Korin's blog and leave a link to your creation. I made this card and at first I didn't like it at all but then I used my stardust stickles on the butterflies and added a few rhinestones so now it's not too bad it's not a favorite but it's still good and oh so sparkly. Happy stamping.

ink- black(palette)
cs-white (gp), black(ctmh)

Chrissy's tummy challenge #10

You may be wondering about my title for this post Well I was just telling my husband that my titles suck and I need to be more creative with them. He just gives me this look like why do they need to be creative and then he looks at the post title I was typing ( Chrissy's belli challenge) and says "honey isn't that suppose to read Bella challenge" I then proceed to tell him that belli was short for embellishments so he says put Chrissy's tummy challenge for your title well that made me bust out laughing so I just had to use it.I thought it was very funny and creative I'm still giggling.

I made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge # 10 for her challenges each week she chooses a craft item that may be just sitting there in your craft supplies that you may not use much, this weeks challenge was to use chalk which btw I've had for years and haven't used much so I decide to try out the chalk board technique you can find the tutorial here. I had not done this technique before and this was the perfect chance to try. It was so easy and a lot of fun I will definitely be doing this again. Please enjoy and have a great day.

What I used
stamps-flying stars(penny black), happy birthday (ctmh)
ink-versa color white
cs-black, hollyhock,garden green(ctmh)
embellishments-ribbon( unknown), chalks, rhinestones $ store find.

Cake & Ice cream

So this was my first time using my copic markers I know it could be better but for my first time and very limited colors I think I did a pretty good job. I think I'll just practice and practice I may not get any better but hey at least I get to play. I used another Sugar Nellie stamp from funky kits called Nellie with cake I think they are all so cute I used stickles on the hearts and her hair bow and just a bit on the flourish on the bottom and the side along the curves. I used a lot of buttons so this card would be really heavy to go postal but, I'm hand delivering it to my neighbor who's birthday was yesterday. Well I think that may be all. I still have that head cold as well as the entire family so things are a little crazy here. Thanks for stopping have a super day it's Friday yay!

What I used
stamps-Nellie with cake( sugar Nellie) sentiment and flourish ( Heidi Grace Clear stamps)
ink-noir black(Pallete), chocolate(ctmh)
cs-Georgia Pacific White
dp- Fresh anthology collection Eliza(making memories)
embellishments-buttons from my stash, stickles, waxy flax, Glossy accents(ranger)
tools-cm decorative paper trimmer ,copics.

SBS-15

I joined the sisterhood of bloggers15 and now I gotta tell them a little about me I am a paper crafter well dah that's obvious. I've been scraping for 7 years and stamping for 3. I just turned 30 in February I am happily married have been for 7 years. I have 3 kids, Koi my one and only boy age 6 he will be 7 in May, Kenley age 4, and Anaiah 20 months. I've been on a card making kick lately but usually I'm more into scrapbooking I'm just to lazy to get my photos printed so I've been making cards plus cards are faster to make well for me anyways. As for my favorite embellishments right now I love ribbon, and glitter. My scrapbooking friends call me the dollar queen cuz when they ask where I found something my answer is usually the dollars store or I bought it for a dollar. Well that's about it for now I can't wait to get to know my new sisters better have a great day and happy stamping.

Dancing in the rain

Here's rainy day Hanna! I colored her last night but didn't know what paper to use with her then I saw these basic grey papers sitting on my table, the colors matched up pretty well so then I put my card together. I had a different layout in mind but some how when I cut my paper I had two sheets stuck together, and so my paper was no longer the size I wanted and instead of cutting into a another sheet of paper I came up with this layout but I think I like this one better than the one I originally had planned. Hope you like it too. Have a great day.

Toad-ally cool Belli challenge

I made this for Chrissy's belli challenge #9 it was to use glitter, well that's pretty simple for me I think I use glitter on everyone of my cards. For this card I stamped the circles then filled each one with star dust stickles it is so sparkly. This frog stamp and sentiment came from Missy B designs such a cute set I've had if for a while and this was the first time my froggy got to see ink. I love this scallop circle I learned how to make it with my coluzzel circle and corner rounder. Debbie had found this tutorial on how to do it, it's so cool I just had to try it for myself. Here's a link to Debbie's blog go watch the video. I used my white signo gel pen for the white stitching. That's it really so have a great day.

Thinking of you

It's Eloise the fairy again I told you I really loved this stamp. I think it's my favorite stamp to color. I hope you love her too because you'll probably be seeing a lot of her until I buy the other fairies but even then you'll still her around. This card was fairly simple I wanted the fairy to stand out more so I didn't use any pattern paper instead I stamped flourishes on the white and added paper flowers then I used tulip fashion bead paint for the centers plus a little stickles on the flourishes . I also used stickles on the fairies wings she is so sparkly. I then used my new signo white gel pen and made dots around the blue CS. I'm hoping to make a spring card for tomorrow cuz it was the first day of spring and of course Easter is on Sunday. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

SO ANGRY

Yeah I'm not so happy with myself right now- K first I made this card here and I thought it looked way to busy.

So then I made this one... well sort of...

You see I had it finished all but the white pen marks I thought I had taken a picture of it so when I got my new white signo gel pen I decided to try it out, well not being very smart I grabbed this card and made marks all over not even trying to stay in the lines just testing out my pen. Why oh why didn't I used scrap paper? I then decide to post on my blog and guess what no picture so I had to take a photo of this card so forgive my idiocy and white pen marks and try to see the card how it should have been. K so enough about my lack of brains, how about I tell you how I made my card. I used two sets from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps the mail box is from birthday fun originally it has a birthday present in the mailbox but I wanted to use one of the sentiments from the yet to be released home sweet home set so I covered it up the present and added the letter stamp from a studio G $1 stamp set. Friends

I made this card for the sketch challenge on the Bella yahoo group. I really enjoy sketch challenges to me they just seem easier I guess because they take the guess work of where to place things.Well I guess you can still put things where you want it's more like a guide line, but it just seems a little easier to me that's all. OK enough of my rambling here is my card. Very bright and happy looking right? Ya I thought so too.

Hanna box challenge

I decided to join in the fun and make the box for the Hanna stamp box challenge. Well that was a pretty difficult challenge for me I had this idea I that I would make it look like a house and use Riley stamps with it. Well I just didn't think it turned out very well so I started all over this time I thought a cute baby box would do better so here it is...

the box holds 8 3x3 cards and envelopes so I just made two of each card I wasn't feeling too creative at the moment. I ended up using 5 different Hanna stamp sets in this challenge to bad I can't win a prize for using the most sets.

Eloise the fairy

This is one of my new favorite stamps from Stamping Bella Eloise the Fairy she is such an adorable fairy I inked her up as quick as I received her (not kidding I ran to my scrap room and started playing I don't think the man in brown had left the block yet...lol) . I just had to color her I think this the first time I colored an image in before picking out what paper to use and because of that I ended up with absolutely no paper to match so I had to improvise. I used my cuddle bug and floral fantasy embossing folder then I used my baby pink ink pad and just rubbed it across so the raised parts picked up the ink, as for the little clear flowers I picked them up at a local $ store they are called see-thru stones form the Tulip paint company I wish I would have picked up more that one bag but at the time I wasn't even sure what they were. Well all in all I really like this card so I guess it's a good thing I didn't have paper to match. Well I guess that's it for my card I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day .

What I used
stamps-Eloise the fairy( stamping Bella)
ink-baby pink,black(ctmh)
cs-baby pink, amethyst, sweet leaf,white daisy(ctmh)

Baby boy

I don't know what it is about cute little lambs but every time I see one I think baby and not just baby, but baby boy. I'm sure the lamb would look cute on a baby girl card but I just think boy. The cute little lamb came from SNSS(sweet 'n sassy stamps) set is called Funny Farm and is so cute take a look and see all the cute animals in this set. OK so after I made this card I really liked it but the more I look at it I'm just not sure anymore I mean I like the layout, I like the stamp, and I like the paper but I just don't know if I like all together anymore. Maybe I should have stamped a fence behind the lamb. Oh well If you have any ideas or comments please share and thanks for stopping by.

What I used
stamps-funny farm (snss) Solo "B"(ctmh)
ink- black, chocolate
dp-Gypsy( basic grey) purchased @snss

SNSS Sneak Peak

This is my first time doing a Sweet 'n sassy stamp sneak peak. Hope I do alright here it goes.

I made this card with one of the two stamp sets that will be released next . I really think this house is so cute. All I will tell you is it's called Home Sweet Home and if you've been to Korin's blog you know she's getting ready to move in four days, so I'm almost positive that her moving was the inspiration behind this set. If you haven't seen the latest stamp release yet with Funny Farm which I received today and can't wait to play with and the Adoption Day check it out here along with all the other cute stamp sets.

For my card I stamped it with ctmh black ink and colored it in with my primsa color pencils and gamsol . I wanted a rustic feel on my card so I sanded my card stock. I love ctmh cs because of the white core It makes it look more worn at lease I think so.

What I used
stamps-home sweet home (sweet 'n sassy)
ink- black (ctmh)
cs-Indian corn blue, garnet, colonial white ( ctmh)
dp-we R memory keepers designer collection paper pack
twill ribbon ctmh
tools-prisma colored pencils, gamsol

It's a layout

It's been so long since I did a scrapbook layout I guess you could say I've been slackin' on my srapin' OK so yes I'm a dork anyways . I was blog cruising and I found a lo I really liked so I decided to try it out I changed it a bit but the main LO is the same here is where I found it. Kathy's Distressed stamper blog . I do hope to get more scraping done but cards are so much faster than LO's but I'm trying. I used my paper trimmer and an embossing stylus to emboss my cs then used my sanding block so the color was sanded away on the raised embossing marks. Everything on this LO is CTMH except the stickles, and I used it on the flower centers and on the petals around the circle. Just so you know stickles and ribbon are my absolute favorite embellishments at the moment I'm sure you couldn't tell right? LOL
Hope you enjoy and have a super day.

What I used
stamps-playful petals
ink-sweet leaf, blush,chocolate lilac mist(ctmh)
cs-sweet leaf,blush,chocolate, colonial white,lilac mist(ctmh)
dp-life delights level 2 paper packet
embellishments- star dust stickles, life delights my stickease(ctmh)

Make a wish

I made this card for my niece's birthday she turned one today but I had to wait for today... er I mean tonight... to post it so my sister wouldn't see it here first. I used Dress up Lily stamp set from pink cat studio it's so cute she comes with so many different things to put in her hands or on her head you can check it out here.I also used my sakura stardust gel pen and stickles, I seem to use them on every thing I make at the moment love them! When I put the sentiment on I just used the SU word window punch with white but it didn't show up very well so I added some bling around it. Oh and one more thing for my mat around the image I didn't have paper that matched so I just used my prismacolor pencil and colored around it. Well that's it have a great day or night.

For this card
stamp-dress up lily( pink cat studio)sentiment is from things hanna would say(Hanna stamps)
ink-black(ctmh)
dp-maybe baby collection( daisy D's
embellishments-ric rak Target$ spot, rhinestones $ store, stardust stickles, sakura stardust gel pen, prisma color pencils, gamsol.

Happy Easter

This is just a quick card I did last night I had to try out my new Swiss dots cuddle bug embossing folder this one is my favorite I just love the dots. The stamp I used is ctmh called Easter Excitement. I wanted a scallop frame for my image but I didn't like my deco scissors and my corner rounder looked funny at the corners it just wouldn't match up so I punched a bunch of circles and stuck it to the back of the image, as I look at it now I guess I should have measured to make it strait and more unified but it's done and glued down oh well. I colored my stamped image with prisma color pencils and gamsol and added star dust stickles to the eggs.

what I used
stamp- easter excitement(ctmh)
ink- black(ctmh)
cs-blush, white daisy(ctmh)
embellishments-ribbon,micheals $ find, charm $ store.
tools- Swiss dots cuddle bug embossing folder, stickles stardust, prismacolor pencils, and gamsol.

Gift set

I made this purse gift set last night and put the finishing touches on it this morning. No stamping are you shocked?...I am. The purse is big enough to hold 4 standard sized cards with envelopes, and has a Velcro closure. The card layouts are pretty simple so I glittafied ( I just made that word up) my paper with stardust stickles, which by the way hardly ever shows up in my photos but it looks real pretty IRL. The purse and cards were all made using scrapworks canvas collection I've had this for 6 months and never used it, I bought it at the scrapbook expo for $1. the other paper is ctmh chocolate cs, then I the added embellishments , blue rhinestones ( $find), ribbon( offray), stickles stardust, paper flower ctmh, blue button( dress it up) and the pewter photo hangers with brad are ctmh I used them to attach the ribbon to the purse(see below).

tagged

I've been tagged for the first time how fun. Debby tagged me so now I am supposed to tell you 7 random facts about me so here it goes.

1. I have a phobia of hanging stuff on my walls myself. Someone else can hang stuff up but I won't do it and I don't even know why it's crazy.

2. I enjoy watching movies about vampires and werewolves.

3. I am shy I don't really talk much I'll answer questions if asked but I don't usually join in any conversations. However once I get to know you and feel more comfortable I'll talk quite a bit.

4. When I play games or boardgames I get giddy and goofy.

5. I hate to be driving in front of someone I know I'd rather follow and I also don't like to drive with my husband in the car he gets to do all the driving.

6. And another thing about driving I don't know how to drive a stick shift. It's automatic all the way for me.

7.I have trouble getting rid of anything I find sentimental value in almost everything my kids or I own.

That was kinda fun now you know a little bit about me.
The rules are-Link to your tagger and post these 3 rules on your blog. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Well I'm breaking a rule because I feel kind of weird tagging others I mean there so many amazing bloggers out there and I now a lot have already done this so what to do... what to do... How about anyone that visits and has a blog consider your self tagged. If you do decide you want to do this then leave me a comment so I can read your 7 random facts. Sound good ? It does to me.

Checker box card

Checker box card I think that's the name even though I like box top card better, but what ever you want to call it is fine by me. I really like the way this turned out I asked my husband what he thought and I warned him that it might be hard to open because of the photo clips but he opened it just fine then handed it back and said "No the hard part is closing it." and as I struggled to put it back together I had to agree with him. I enjoyed making this card it was pretty simple I used Sweet 'n sassy stamp set Chocoholic for this card I also used my sakura stardust pen on the chocolates but it's hard to tell in the photo. After folding the card it still kind of poked open so that's when I decided to put the sentiment on the front and hold the card closed with the photo clips. Tomorrow I should have a Hanna card to share thanks for stopping by.
