Hey Sunshine, Belli challenge24

This card all started with that little square of ribbon at the bottom I found paper to match and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I added the circle for Chrissy belli challenge #24 this week the challenge was to use circles but I guess the glasses and button are circles as well but I wanted to add just one more so the bucket of sand was added. The stamp I used is one of missy b designs and her website is back up and working so if you've been wanting to see what she carries you can check it out here. The sentiment is from things hanna would say from hanna stamps. It's hard to tell in the photo but the ribbon is frayed a little at the end. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

Baby Card

I made this card last night. I started with the scalloped edge and I places buttons on the side, I thought it looked like a it would make a cute baby card so I searched my stamps and found one that would work well and it went on from there. The image I used is Take a Stand Kirby from Stamping Bella. The baby feet and baby boy stamp came from a fiskars set named baby. The metal rim around the baby feet was a tag but I accidentally pushed the vellum out so I just stamped on the cs and adhered the rim to the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Fundraiser for Janessa

I have a message from Korin, who is the owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps (Inky Doodle) You may know about my 19 month old niece, Janessa, who was born with Down Syndrome and later diagnosed with MDS (pre-leukemia). She is the youngest of five all under 12 years old. She has finished round two of her chemo treatments but it's been a roller coaster ride for my brother's family as you can imagine. She has at least 4 more treatments to go so they still have a long way ahead of them. Many of my blogging and praying friends have asked if there is more they can do...well there is! With your help, I would like to ease some of their burden by having a fundraiser through Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. From July 8th through July 31st I will be donating 50% from each stamp set sold to the Joseph family (not including Sarah Kay and Rachelle Anne Miller). So if you've been thinking about getting some stamps sets, now is the time to do it! If you have any questions, please let me know.To follow along Janessa's journey visit her Caring Bridge page. And by all means if the only thing you can do is pray, then please pray for her and the family! God is good and he WILL see them through this!!

Fantastic Friday Challenge 6/27

My photo looks a little blurry here it looked fine before I uploaded it into blogger sorry.
I made this card for Korin's fantastic Friday challenge 6/27 which is to make a card with red white and blue as the main colors.I recently purchased these papers from ctmh and I just had to use them. As for the stamp set from Missy B designs I bought it sometime in Sept. or Oct. and forgot about them so when I saw it I thought it would work well with the paper. For this card I didn't forget to put a sentiment on I just haven't decided what I'll use the card for so I'm going to wait to see what comes up.
On another note I was asked on how to make the scalloped edge on this card and I also used it on the card above here is a tutorial by Beate Johns found on split coast stampers that explains it very well.I won't be posting until next week because of the holiday, I will be spending time with family. Thanks for visiting and have a great week.

What I used
stamps-missy b designs
ink-noir black(palette)
dp-Blue ribbon level 2 paper pack(ctmh)
cs-outdoor denim, cranberry(ctmh), white(GP)
embellishments-ribbon(I bought it at Michael's )
tools-copic markers, corner rounder

New Releases and Penguin Card

Sweet 'n Sassy stamps has released 7 new stamp sets hurry and check it out. The design team round-up is also posted. The design team made some really great samples using snss this month.

I was asked to showcase the Penguin Hugs stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I think this set is great for birthdays to winter themed crafts.

For my card I stamped one of the Penguins from the set with black graphite Brilliance ink. I then colored it in with my prisma colored pencils and gamsol, I also outlined the penguin with my pale blue copic marker. I used stardust stickles to make it look like snow. I then hand doodled the dots around the card with my singo white gel pen. I random stamped snowflakes for the background paper. This was such a fun set to work with so many possibilities!
