I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope everyone else did too. It's my turn for the Sweet 'n Sassy blog hop this time I decided to make a acetate box ( instructions are found here tlc182) for some candy. I made a simple card to go along with it. Originally I was going to fill it up with the mint patties that are all decorated but they looked a little funny in the box with the way I have it decorated so I just filled it up with the plain mints but I wanted to show the candies decorated. I used Snowflakes stamp set for my project. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to continue on with the blog hop the next stop is Korin's blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
What I used
stamp-snowflakes(snss)
ink-Indian corn blue(ctmh)
dp-chocolate, Indian corn blue(ctmh), white(gp)
embellishments-ribbon(offray) stardust stickles
tools-scalloped circle punch(SU) cuddle bug snowflake embossing folder, mints, Acetate.

Pirates Life and Blog Candy
This month I decided to go back to the very first stamp set I purchased soon after Korin had started her business .Wow I can't believe it's already been a year. The stamp set I chose this month is A Pirate's Life . I did however change it up a bit I drew in some braids so my pirate is no longer a boy but a girl I thought it turned out pretty cute. I just had to add lots of sparkle too.
I colored in the image with my copic markers the sword and treasure box was also colored in with my sukura stardust gel pen and I added a few mini rhinestones.
Sweet 'n Sassy stamps turns 1 year this month. Korin has put a a lot into her company and to show her thanks she has a lot of things going on this month each week two members of the design team is are giving away a free stamp set this week it's Chris Dickinsen and my turn. You can also win a set of 6 stamps sets check out the snss blog here.
Ok so the blog candy I'm giving away is the Pirate's Life stamp set all you need to do is leave me a comment and I'll randomly choose the winner next Sat Nov. 22.

Winter Fun
Here is a 6x6 card I made using winter fun w/Sam and Gretchen a snss set. This is such an adorable set you can see the set here. For the snow I ripped white cs and used blue chalk along the ripped edges I then put the ripped paper back together and poured glitter over the top. For the sky I used clear acetate and ran it threw my cuddle bug with the snowflake embossing folder and attached it to my card. It was hard to photograph to show the detail but I did my best, please enjoy and have a great day.
