Winter Fun

Here is a 6x6 card I made using winter fun w/Sam and Gretchen a snss set. This is such an adorable set you can see the set here. For the snow I ripped white cs and used blue chalk along the ripped edges I then put the ripped paper back together and poured glitter over the top. For the sky I used clear acetate and ran it threw my cuddle bug with the snowflake embossing folder and attached it to my card. It was hard to photograph to show the detail but I did my best, please enjoy and have a great day.

SNSS appreciation month....Mother's Day card

This card is for my Grandmother for Mother's Day. When I saw this stamp I just new I needed to use it for Mother's Day cards I love how it comes with all the special women in our life stamps for example mother daughter niece and so on. I used SNSS Special Women stamp set I colored it in with my copics. I used my cuddle bug and ran my ctmh distressing ink over it and that's pretty much it. I love how my ribbon matched really well, I picked that up around Christmas time at Micheal's for a dollar. That's it for now I just want to thank you for visiting and hope you have a wonderful day.

Eloise Greengrass and a RAK

Here is the card I made for my Mom's birthday she really liked the card. I used Eloise Greengrass from stamping Bella she recently released some other fairies they are so cute you should check them out if you haven't already.

This post is kind of random so many things to mention today.

I am so excited I won a free stamp from Kimmie I did her challenge and I was the random winner I'm just so excited this will be my first high hopes stamp I love their stamps but haven't purchased any yet so ya I'm just a bit excited that I won one Wahoo.

I won't be posting as often for a while I need to give my house some much need attention and that messes up my stamping time I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about that.

I also took off the word verification I get so tried of straining my eyes to try to figure them out so I will now need to approve the comments but don't worry I don't plan on deleting any just the offensive and spam ones which I have yet to receive thank goodness. I received this card in the mail yesterday from Kathy she also sent me some really cute images I can't wait to play with them isn't her card just darling I love the Tilda's although I don't own any yet they are so cute I love her coloring and she used a glitter gel pen all over and of course her layout is just amazing such a fun card thanks so much Kathy.

Golfing Riley

I had so much fun at the expo I bought lots of goodies but now I'm trying to organize my scrap room so I can put it all away.



Here is a card I made for my dad's birthday which was yesterday I made a card with golfing Riley just perfect for my dad. I colored him in with my copics this was the first time I have colored in the sky and grass with my markers I really like the way it turned out. I then matched the colors with some argyle paper and used my cuddle bug and swiss dots embossing folder with my white paper I then turned it around so the paper looked more like the dimples on a golf ball I know you can't tell in the photo but it looks neat well at least I think so and my dad really liked his card too. Adorable baby

I just love making baby cards I make a lot of birthday cards but I think baby cards are my favorite to make. Anyways for this card I wanted to try out a new technique with my cuddle bug you can see it here it was super easy and looks pretty cool the stamp came from a set I bought at Joann's it's by Fiskars . The "new baby" charm was purchased at Wal-mart I found them in the baby shower section. Well that's all for today hope you have a great day.

Hula Sophie

Meet Sophie G the other moose on the loose at Hanna stamps she is so cute I love this hula girl... er moose. When I stamped her I wanted to somehow make her skirt a different color I first thought of paper piecing but then I thought how cute would it be if I used embroidering thread to make my own hula skirt. I think it turned out so cute, and as an extra I added some beads to the top of the skirt. I used my cuddle bug embossing folder and the sentiment is from ctmh. Happy Easter

everyone here's a spring card for today I really like this card and I hope you do too I used ctmh playful petals, I stamped the petals and cut them out to form a tulip.Hope you have a wonderful day. This is a real short post cuz I've got a lot to get ready for tomorrow.

SO ANGRY

Yeah I'm not so happy with myself right now- K first I made this card here and I thought it looked way to busy.



So then I made this one... well sort of...



You see I had it finished all but the white pen marks I thought I had taken a picture of it so when I got my new white signo gel pen I decided to try it out, well not being very smart I grabbed this card and made marks all over not even trying to stay in the lines just testing out my pen. Why oh why didn't I used scrap paper? I then decide to post on my blog and guess what no picture so I had to take a photo of this card so forgive my idiocy and white pen marks and try to see the card how it should have been. K so enough about my lack of brains, how about I tell you how I made my card. I used two sets from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps the mail box is from birthday fun originally it has a birthday present in the mailbox but I wanted to use one of the sentiments from the yet to be released home sweet home set so I covered it up the present and added the letter stamp from a studio G $1 stamp set. I colored the mail box with my stardust sakura gel pen and I thought It turned out pretty cute until well you already read the story...So PLEASE enjoy my mistake.

Hanna box challenge

I decided to join in the fun and make the box for the Hanna stamp box challenge. Well that was a pretty difficult challenge for me I had this idea I that I would make it look like a house and use Riley stamps with it. Well I just didn't think it turned out very well so I started all over this time I thought a cute baby box would do better so here it is...









the box holds 8 3x3 cards and envelopes so I just made two of each card I wasn't feeling too creative at the moment. I ended up using 5 different Hanna stamp sets in this challenge to bad I can't win a prize for using the most sets.

Eloise the fairy

This is one of my new favorite stamps from Stamping Bella Eloise the Fairy she is such an adorable fairy I inked her up as quick as I received her (not kidding I ran to my scrap room and started playing I don't think the man in brown had left the block yet...lol) . I just had to color her I think this the first time I colored an image in before picking out what paper to use and because of that I ended up with absolutely no paper to match so I had to improvise. I used my cuddle bug and floral fantasy embossing folder then I used my baby pink ink pad and just rubbed it across so the raised parts picked up the ink, as for the little clear flowers I picked them up at a local $ store they are called see-thru stones form the Tulip paint company I wish I would have picked up more that one bag but at the time I wasn't even sure what they were. Well all in all I really like this card so I guess it's a good thing I didn't have paper to match. Well I guess that's it for my card I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful day .

Happy Easter

This is just a quick card I did last night I had to try out my new Swiss dots cuddle bug embossing folder this one is my favorite I just love the dots.The stamp I used is ctmh called Easter Excitement. I wanted a scallop frame for my image but I didn't like my deco scissors and my corner rounder looked funny at the corners it just wouldn't match up so I punched a bunch of circles and stuck it to the back of the image, as I look at it now I guess I should have measured to make it strait and more unified but it's done and glued down oh well. I colored my stamped image with prisma color pencils and gamsol and added star dust stickles to the eggs.

Checker box card

Checker box card I think that's the name even though I like box top card better, but what ever you want to call it is fine by me. I really like the way this turned out I asked my husband what he thought and I warned him that it might be hard to open because of the photo clips but he opened it just fine then handed it back and said "No the hard part is closing it." and as I struggled to put it back together I had to agree with him. I enjoyed making this card it was pretty simple I used Sweet 'n sassy stamp set Chocoholic for this card I also used my sakura stardust pen on the chocolates but it's hard to tell in the photo. After folding the card it still kind of poked open so that's when I decided to put the sentiment on the front and hold the card closed with the photo clips. Birthday Invitation

My daughters birthday is coming up soon and I decided I was going to make her birthday invitations instead of calling the family two nights before like I usually do. I had planed to make something with a ballerina for her but, no she wants a slipper birthday(that's what she calls dress shoes) so I decided to add a wand, and crown to her invites to make them a little more girlie when I showed it to her hoping she'd like them her reaction was " hmmmm well I like the slippers." She is so funny.

Hanna sketch challenge

This card was done for the Hanna sketch challenge I really love this sketch. It's the first time I've done a sketch challenge I had a lot of fun doing it.
I used making memories kids collection -Emma 6x6 paper. I bought this paper and I really liked it but never used it so when I saw this sketch I new it would be so cute. I used my cuddle bug swirls for the embossing, and my corner rounder for the scallops.
