Belli Challenge#53

Each week Chrissy chooses a new guest designer for the week and this week I was chosen to be the guest designer I'm so excited.
What is the Belli Challenge you ask?
Each week, Chrissy tries to give us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms or homes! With a constant flow of new things coming out, we tend to forget about the other things we have and they quickly become clutter! This weeks, Belli Challenge is to make something for Valentine's or use hearts.

Belli challenge#51

I made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge #51 This weeks challenge is to use reinkers on your card well the only reinker I own is indian corn blue so the blue on Nellie's dress was colored in using my reinker and aqua brush the rest of the image I actually colored I with my chalks that I haven't used in a long time. After I colored in my image I wanted to use gingham paper but all of my paper didn't match the blue I used so then I remembered I had some ribbon and it matched really well. That's it for my card.

Don't forget to comment on my blog candy post go here to see. Thanks for those who have already left me comments it's a big help there's already a few names I like and never would have thought of.

What I used

ink-noir black(palette), chocolate(ctmh)
cs-indian corn blue, bamboo(ctmh), water color paper(strathmore)
supplies-ribbon(dollar store), buttons (my stash), chalk, indian corn blue reinker(ctmh), hemp.

Hello!

I made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge #50 this week her challenge was to use stamps that have gone unused or neglected. Well I definitely found one this stamp was one of my first stamps ever I was probably only 12 yr. old when my mom bought it for me it's an old ctmh stamp back when they were called dots the copy right on the stamp said 1989 so yeah it's old and has gone unused for just about as long too. I colored my image in with my copics and then to my amazement I found some perfect pearls that I've had for about 5 yr and forgot about so I used the green on the turtle and he shimmers, oh so cute. My striped paper has been altered a bit, it originally was just pink and green so I used my ctmh crystal blue marker and ruler and made my blue stripes I thought it turned out so cute and matches great. I used two types of ribbon and did a little paper piercing along the bottom. I found a new site called clean and simple that's were I found this sketch you should check it out. Well thanks for visiting hope you have a great day.

What I used
stamps-Happy turtle(dots now ctmh), things hanna would say(hanna stamps)
ink-noir black(palette), crystal blue(ctmh)
dp-spring pack(dcwv)
cs-orchid bouquet(ctmh), white(GP)
supplies-brads(oriental trading co), ribbon blue(dollar store), green(american crafts), perfect pearls forever green(ranger), paper piercer, copic makers.

I colored in one purse green and black and the others I just used my black copic. The flower metal clip I bought at the scrapbook expo from the creating keepsakes booth. Chrissy's tummy challenge #10

You may be wondering about my title for this post Well I was just telling my husband that my titles suck and I need to be more creative with them. He just gives me this look like why do they need to be creative and then he looks at the post title I was typing ( Chrissy's belli challenge) and says "honey isn't that suppose to read Bella challenge" I then proceed to tell him that belli was short for embellishments so he says put Chrissy's tummy challenge for your title well that made me bust out laughing so I just had to use it.I thought it was very funny and creative I'm still giggling.

I made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge # 10 for her challenges each week she chooses a craft item that may be just sitting there in your craft supplies that you may not use much, this weeks challenge was to use chalk which btw I've had for years and haven't used much so I decide to try out the chalk board technique you can find the tutorial here. I had not done this technique before and this was the perfect chance to try. It was so easy and a lot of fun I will definitely be doing this again. Please enjoy and have a great day.

What I used
stamps-flying stars(penny black), happy birthday (ctmh)
ink-versa color white
cs-black, hollyhock,garden green(ctmh)
embellishments-ribbon( unknown), chalks, rhinestones $ store find.

For this card I stamped the circles then filled each one with star dust stickles it is so sparkly. This frog stamp and sentiment came from Missy B designs such a cute set I've had if for a while and this was the first time my froggy got to see ink. I love this scallop circle I learned how to make it with my coluzzel circle and corner rounder. Debbie had found this tutorial on how to do it, it's so cool I just had to try it for myself. Here's a link to Debbie's blog go watch the video. I used my white signo gel pen for the white stitching. That's it really so have a great day.
