Dino-mite

I have a lot to show but my internet is being weird and only working for a few minutes at a time in fact I had to type this up in another program and paste it in here because it won't stay connected long enough. any way for this card I used a sweet' n sassy stamp set that will be released after the release party on the 2nd of Jan. My sweet 'n sassy design team term is up now too so this is the last blog hop I will be joining in on. It was a pleasure working with Korin and the ladies on the DT. If you came here first please visit Michele's and Kathy's blogs to see some more sneak peaks. Okay back to my card I used the dinosaur from dino-mite I stamped it on paper then I ran it threw my cuddle bug embossing folder I used double sided foam tape under the dino so it pops off the page a bit. That's it really pretty simple if you have any questions let me know I'll do my best to answer. and as always have a great day and have a Happy New Year.

SNSS DT Round Up

I was suppose to post this yesterday but I forgot. I went to New Orleans for my husbands Christmas work party, even though I was only gone for the weekend it's taking me awhile to get back into the swing of things.
This month for the design team round up for Sweet'n Sassy stamps I decided to showcase winter at home. For my card I only used part of the stamp design so it would fit on my card with what I had planed. I colored in the image with my copic markers the milk can and skate blades were colored in with my sakura stardust gel pen so it looks shiny like metal. I used Martha Stewart's snowflake punch dipped in glitter and holiday poinsettia from prima.Visit the snss blog to see what the rest of the design team made.

Supplies
stamps-winter at home
ink-black graphite(brilliance)
designer paper-candy cane lane(imaginisce)
tools- copic markers, sakura stardust gel pen, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, glitter, brads(cmth), holiday poinsettia(prima).

Another Christmas card

I love the way this card turned out. I bought these chipboard shapes at the scrapbook expo this Fall. for 1 dollar and I forgot all about them until I saw a card made with a chipboard snowflake.
I painted my snowflake with white acyclic paint after it dried I sponged some chocolate ink around the edges then I covered it in glue and dipped it in to my glitter I just love the way it turned out. I used another image from Sweet 'n sassy stamps snow friends this image actually has two snowmen on it but I only wanted one so I used my circle punch to get the one snowman. Thanks for visiting and have a great day.

dp-holidays(making memories)

Wishing you a happy holiday season

Wow what a slacker I am, I have been working on things I just can't show you yet but I did take time to do a sketch challenge on pcp sketch challenge group. When I saw this I sketch I couldn't wait to do it but I was in the process of making my Christmas cards for this year I usually have them done by Thanksgiving but not this year unfortunately for me I just started two days ago and I needed to make 50+. I always mass produce my cards it's easier for me to come up with one card idea. I finally finished them but I still need to address them and get them sent out. I hope to have that done by next week so I can't show those cards until then. Ok so back to the card I made for the sketch challenge. The stamp set is from ctmh as is the sentiment the little gumdrops came from a Martha Stewart set with lots of stickles so the gumdrops are so sparkly and yummy looking. The dp came from the dollar section at target. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

What I used
stamps-merry pursuits, Festive thoughts(ctmh)gingerbread (Martha Stewart)
ink-black graphite(brilliance) vineyard berry, citrus leaf, topiary(ctmh)
dp-target $ section
cs-citrus leaf (ctmh)white(gp)
embellishments- ribbon(offray), stickles.
tools-copic markers, white gel pen (su) scalloped circle circut mini monograms, tag bags boxes & more.
