Acetate birthday card

I've been wanting to make an acetate card for a long time I just didn't have white stazon ink then last week I saw this card (the second one in her post) and I realized I didn't need ink I could just use paper. I know mine is nowhere near as gorgeous as hers but that where I got the idea. I made this card for my sisters birthday last week. I had a hard time taking a picture of this card I kept getting a glare and the acetate is hard to see but I did my best. I loved making this card and plan on making a lot more they really look stunning and it's fairly easy to make.

Sending Sunshine and Smiles

It's been awhile since I use my Hanna stamps so I decided to ink up rain day Hanna and I really loved the way this card turned out. I used my SU circle punches and I even used some SU paper I've been hording I still only used a tiny bit of it I'm still hording it, lol. I then used my star struck ctmh stamp set and stamped around the circles the circles with dots around them I used my ctmh sweet leaf marker and hand did them.

I also made this card for Chrissy's belli challenge # 20 her challenge was to use vellum or mulberry paper. I wasn't planning on using vellum but when my card was almost done I wanted to use a sentiment but I didn't want to cover up my circles so then it clicked and I remembered Chrissy's challenge so I stamped the sentiment from Gretchen (snss) on vellum and their you have it. Oh and the green paper is on dimensionals anyways, I think it looked really cool I hope everyone else likes it too.

For those of you that care I am feeling much better I had chills and body aches all day yesterday and I thought I was getting the cold my kids have then this morning I woke up just fine so who knows what I had I'm just happy to be feeling better. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

Congraduation

No I didn't spell it wrong I just smushed congratulations and graduation together to form a new word for my SIL graduation card she graduated today from West high. The school colors are red and black so of course I had to use those colors for her card I embossed the" W" and congraduation with silver embossing powder, wow I can't even remember the last time I used that stuff it's been way too long. I rolled a piece of copy paper for the diploma and tied it with waxy flax.I just had to add some bling cuz I didn't want it to look to masculine.
On another note my kids have been sick all week and now I'm getting sick, I'm not feeling too hot right now so I'm going to go. Have a great day thanks for visiting.

stamps-letters from Sans small caps,lowercase,and Essential alphabet(ctmh)
dp- dcwv
cs-cranberry, black(ctmh)
